How to get to Roma*
Travel by plane:
REX Airlines flies between Brisbane and Roma every day of the week departing Brisbane at various times.
Travel by bus:
Greyhound Australia operates a coach service between Brisbane and Roma on most days of the week.
Travel by train:
Queensland Rail operates the 'The Westlander' train between Brisbane and Roma departing Brisbane on Thursday evenings at 6.55pm, arriving in Roma at 6.05am on Friday morning.
When selecting your mode of transport please ensure you can arrive at the Roma Mid Town Motor Inn no later than 4.30pm on Monday 3 June to enable us to check you in and complete our pre-tour briefing with you.
Getting home from Emerald*
Travel by plane:
QANTAS flies between Emerald and Brisbane with connections to all capital cities on Wednesday.
- Depart Emerald 8.10am / Arrive Brisbane 9.40am
- Depart Emerald 3.20pm / Arrive Brisbane 4.50pm
- Depart Emerald 5.10pm / Arrive Brisbane 6.40pm
- Depart Emerald 7.05pm / Arrive Brisbane 8.35pm

Virgin Australia flies between Emerald and Brisbane with connections to all capital cities on Wednesday.

Travel by train:
Queensland Rail operates the 'Spirit of the Outback' train between Emerald and Brisbane departing Emerald each Thursday at 5.53pm, arriving in Brisbane each Friday at 9.55am.
Travel with Mulga Bicycle Tours:
We offer a transfer back to Roma after spending a day in Emerald at the end of the tour. Transfer includes an extra night in Emerald (accommodation only) and a one-day drive back to Roma on Thursday 13 June, arriving in Roma about 5pm. Cost: $247.50 per person twin share; $325.00 single.
